Exams are just around the corner, and the pressure is building. You spend your days buried in textbooks, high on caffeine. When you close your eyes, you still see the screen you’ve been staring at for hours. Your brain feels fried, and creativity has left the building… What if there’s a way to pause, reset, and actually re-energize in the middle of it all? This edition of Creativity Club is all about finding your flow!
This isn’t your typical “take a break” activity. It’s a sensory experience designed to clear your mind and reignite your creativity. Because creativity isn’t just for artists—it’s for everyone, especially when it comes to problem-solving and stress relief. So join our Intuitive Sound Drawing Journey and return to your studies feeling fresher, more focused, and ready to tackle your exams head-on!
What can you expect?
So what exactly is an Intuitive Sound Healing Journey? Artist Sofia Origo will guide us through this workshop that consists of the following parts.
Sound healing: Imagine being surrounded by the calming hum of singing bowls, the soothing sound of a native flute, and the peaceful rhythm of an ocean drum… Let the sounds wash over you, resetting your nervous system and releasing built-up stress.
Intuitive drawing: Just bring yourself, and a willingness to let go. Respond to the sounds around you with free-flowing, spontaneous drawing. It’s all about expression, not perfection—let your creativity run wild. No artistic experience required!
Grounding & reflection: We’ll start with a quick intention-setting exercise and end with space to reflect on the experience. You’ll leave feeling recharged, centered, and ready to take on whatever’s next!
The artist
This workshop will be guided by the amazing artist Sofia Origo from Passiflora Cave. Under her guidance, you will step away from the grind, disconnect from distractions, and give yourself the space to recharge.
No phones, no screens—just a peaceful, creative reset. And: no art skills or equipment required! Just bring an open mind, and we’ll handle the rest.
About Creativity Club
Art and cultural expressions are a reflection of the time we live in. So what better way to explore and shape the topics that matter to you, than by getting creative with them yourself? Each edition focuses on a theme that resonates with you, accompanied by workshops that dive deeper into it. Share your thoughts with fellow students, and pick up new creative skills along the way.
Accessibility
The event is open to both Dutch-speaking and international students. The room is accessible via an elevator on the ground floor of Padualaan 99. If you have special needs or requests, we would be happy to discuss the possibilities with you. Please contact us at podium@hu.nl.
