Podium is a crew of HU students and staff creating events that give you a break from your to-do list. Between lectures, deadlines, and endless screen time, we make space to do something different. Out of your head, into your hands.

Need a quick creative break? Drop by a Pop-Up. Pull up a seat and join in, casual, offline, no pressure. Stay five minutes or an hour, it’s up to you. Want to go deeper? Check out a Creativity Club. Sign up and pick one from two workshops, diving into a topic that actually matters to students, together with your peers. Prefer cooking and eating? Join a Food Club. Each edition has a new theme, and between chopping, baking, and tasting, conversations happen that just don’t fit in a lecture hall.

Everything we do is casual, hands-on, and no prior experience is needed. Our events take place in HU buildings at Utrecht Science Park, always in a different spot, each with its own vibe. Podium is for anyone who wants to step out of their head and into the moment. For the curious. For those who want to make, taste, or just experience something new.
