What is Podium?
At Podium, we organize professional events where you, together with your fellow students, explore themes that matter to you. Think pop-up performances, creative clubs, workshops, food programs, and much more! Working at Podium is flexible, varied, and offers plenty of room for personal growth. Don’t worry if you don’t know everything yet; enthusiasm, creativity, and commitment are what matter most! Starting January 2026, we are looking for two student assistant program makers.
What will you do?
- Create and produce events: From Creativity Club to Food Club, Study Sounds, or any other idea, you help shape the program. Do you have talents like music, dance, filming, or another creative skill? Let us know, we love to use your skills.
- Event host and face of Podium: As a host and vibe chief, you are the face of our events. You engage with people and make everyone feel welcome. Even outside events, you invite people, recognize familiar faces, and keep your classmates updated with the latest event news.
- From preparation to execution: Scan tickets, talk to visitors, conduct impact measurements, and assist with production.
- Teamwork: You will work with 4 staff members and 4 student assistants (both Dutch and international) in an inspiring, collegial environment.
Who are you?
- Creative, interested in art, culture, and societal themes.
- Enthusiastic, responsible, and proactive: you see what needs to be done and come up with ideas.
- HU student, available approximately 8 hours per week, including 2 half-days for meetings and collaboration (about 4 hours each) and sometimes evenings during events.
What do we offer?
- Good salary: approx. €18 gross/hour (zero-hours contract).
- Flexible part-time job where you can use your creativity and organizational skills.
