I study Drama Therapy. At Podium, I work on developing our programmes, specifically the pub quiz and Food for Talk. In my spare time you can find me on the football field as a player and a referee. Besides that, I'm always in for an adventure. Are you proposing a spontaneous weekend trip? I'm in!

At Podium I work on talkshows and in the background we are also working on a new podcast. I am already in my fourth year of journalism and hope to work as a radiopresenter after my studies. Sitting still is not for me! I like to run around the whole country to get to know new places and people just like the busy bee I am. The train and many coffee places I visit are also known to be my working space

I study Creative Business and work on Podium's English spoken events . I've been a street dancer since 2011. I'm originally from Poland, where I used queer culture as an inspiration for my artistic work. Art, in a very broad sense, is an extremely significant part of my life. I would love to make a meaningful and positive impact on people with our events.

I'm a second-year Creative Business student from Berlin with a passion for all things art, aesthetics, and design. As promotions officer, I focus on promoting English-language events. Alongside my role at Podium, I'm also actively involved with the Study Programme Committee for Creative Business. In my free time, you’ll likely find me exploring antique shops, taking long walks, or diving into creative projects.

My biggest passions are fashion and interior design, so you’ll often find me scrolling through Pinterest for fresh ideas. I can’t wait to bring my sense for style and creativity into my role at Podium!
Samoa-2

Samoa - marketing and communications coordinator

Within the Podium team my role is to make sure that we cater our events and programmes to a diverse audience. As an anthropology graduate, I’m curious about the HU students and their view on the world. My world mostly revolves around good food, rugby, and craft projects.
Maria-2

Maria - production executive

Within the Podium team I'm involved in the production, preparation, implementation and settlement of all the events. I make sure all our events run smoothly, a wide variety of tasks! I like to move and can use my creativity and love for culture in my work as well. I enjoy art house movies, museums, concerts, Latin America, good food, games, and the sea.
Roselyn-1

Roselyn - marketing and communications coordinator

Together with my colleagues I make sure that all the awesome Podium events find an even wider audience. I consider myself a cultural omnivore, I love going to (post-punk and indie) concerts, arthouse films, the theatre, debate programmes and literary events… But most of all, I love the visual arts, that’s why I also study part time at the art academy in The Hague.
Iris 2

Iris - programme coordinator

At Podium I help the international programme creators develop exciting events in English. I love how art (literature, theatre, cinema, etc.) can entice you to think about yourself and the world around you. At Podium I’ve merged my passion for culture and work experience in a job. When I'm not at work you can probably find me curled up on the couch with a good book, at the cinema, or in the yoga studio.
Josien-1

Josien - programme coordinator

I supervise the creation of new programmes and the organisation of events at Podium. I enjoy working with talented students and cooperating with other organisations. Apart from that, I like running in the woods, tending to my own garden, and visiting libraries. That's why I'm very happy to be working for the HU library one day a week.

Hanna - programme lead and coordinator

Hi, I'm Hanna, programme leader and coordinator at Podium! I work on developing new events, together with the team. Every event is slightly different, but creative thinking and working are the central theme in everything we do. I'm also involved in the Utrecht hip-hop and street culture scene, where I helped building House of Hip Hop. A dynamic environment and community, where I learned a lot. One of the most important lessons? That creativity is contagious! I hope to pass this on within the HU, with everyone I encounter in my work.
